Emailing and Calling College Coaches.

Being proactive in your own recruiting process can be beneficial for you. Sending an email to a coach is a good way to get your foot in the door with a program and get the ball rolling in the process. However, there are tons of emails coaches receive on a daily basis, it is extremely important you do what it takes to make your email stand out. Since those emails do sometimes get lost from recruits, another great options is making that phone call. This is an easy way to stand out because most kids just simply do not pick the phone up to call coaches. Most coaches operate quicker via phone than text or other messaging platforms, so a well-scripted and planned phone call can be to your advantage.

No matter what anyone says, this decision is about what is best for YOU and YOUR future. Do not go through this process with unanswered questions. Seek as much knowledge as you can and lean on as many resources as you can.”
